On May 7, the fourth session of the "Leadership and Teamwork in Digital Projects" course brought together 90 participants to address two of the most complex operational challenges in digital leadership: "Stakeholder and Expectation Management" alongside "Conflict Resolution and Performance Management."

Trainer Anna Rodríguez Casadevall led the cohort through actionable strategies to align diverse interests and maintain project harmony in virtual environments. Drawing on her extensive background in intercultural cooperation and team development, Anna emphasized that proactively managing expectations and resolving friction early is essential for keeping digital initiatives on track.

The session focused on two critical pillars of digital leadership:

  • Managing Stakeholders & Expectations: Frameworks for identifying key stakeholders, mapping their needs, and setting clear, transparent expectations to avoid misunderstandings across remote networks.

  • Resolving Conflict & Tracking Performance: Techniques for identifying early signs of digital team conflict, facilitating constructive resolution online, and supporting individual and team performance without micromanagement.

Meanwhile, on the DigiSkill e-learning platform, the 90 participants engaged with scenario-based exercises to practice mediating virtual conflicts and managing stakeholder dynamics. This practical approach equipped young leaders with the resilience and diplomacy needed to manage high-stakes digital environments effectively.

The DigiSkill project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
