The frontier of project management is evolving rapidly, and the integration of next-generation technology is no longer optional—it is a necessity. On March 18, 2026, YMCA Uganda officially launched its first webinar of the Digiskill series, stepping directly into the future with the timely topic: "Artificial Intelligence in Project Management." The session engaged 18 forward-thinking participants eager to explore the synergy between human leadership and algorithmic efficiency.
The masterclass was conducted by Mr. Bashir Goloba, an expert in digital innovation and technological systems. Mr. Goloba brought an analytical and forward-looking perspective to the virtual stage, guiding attendees through the profound shift from traditional, manual tracking to smart, AI-driven project ecosystems.
Participants were introduced to the core pillars of modern, intelligent management:
Predictive AI & Decision Making: How machine learning models can analyze historical data to predict project risks, estimate timelines, and allocate resources more accurately.
Automating the Mundane: Utilizing smart tools to handle administrative overhead, meeting summaries, and routine task tracking, freeing up human managers for strategic thinking.
The AI-Human Synergy: Understanding that AI is not a replacement for human leadership, but rather a powerful co-pilot that enhances emotional intelligence with data-driven insights.
Mr. Goloba’s insights provided a brilliant blueprint for how young African professionals can position themselves at the cutting edge of global workforce trends. By learning to orchestrate AI tools today, participants are gaining the precise technological advantage needed to lead complex initiatives tomorrow.
As the 1st of 12 webinars hosted by YMCA Uganda, this event established an incredibly sophisticated benchmark, proving that the Digiskill initiative is successfully preparing youth to navigate the high-tech economic landscapes of tomorrow.
