DIGISKILL WEBINAR SERIES: BPWCR #3
As remote work transforms from a temporary adjustment into a permanent global standard, organizations face a critical, quiet challenge: how to maintain genuine human connection through a screen. On June 15, 2026, BPW Czech Republic (BPWCR) hosted its third Digiskill webinar, addressing this modern workplace dynamic with the session: "Digital Empathy: Humanizing Remote Collaboration." The event gathered 24 thoughtful participants dedicated to building healthier virtual team environments.
The workshop was conducted by Evelin Mendoza, a specialist in organizational culture and human-centric leadership. Evelin pulled back the layers of virtual miscommunication, demonstrating that remote efficiency is unsustainable without intentional emotional intelligence. She guided attendees on how to replace passive text channels and transactional video calls with empathetic, trust-building habits.
The session provided actionable tools to restore the human element in digital workspaces:
Practicing Active Digital Listening: Techniques for reading emotional tone in written messaging and video interactions to prevent burnout and misunderstandings.
Designing Human-Centric Virtual Workflows: Structuring asynchronous collaboration in a way that respects personal boundaries, time zones, and individual working styles.
Cultivating Psychological Safety Online: Creating virtual spaces where team members feel comfortable sharing challenges, asking for help, and expressing creativity without fear of judgment.
Evelin’s insights offered a crucial reminder that technology should serve people, not isolate them. By training professionals to lead with empathy in digital spaces, BPWCR continues to champion modern, resilient leadership models for the global workforce.
As the 3rd of 12 webinars hosted by BPWCR, this session added a profound layer of human-centered leadership to the Digiskill series, proving that the most effective digital teams are built on mutual trust and understanding.
