How do we build trust in a world where business is done across borders and screens? This was the central question of the eighth Digiskill Online Dialogue held on December 9. Under the theme "International Business Etiquette and Protocol," 85 participants gathered to discover that professional protocol is much more than formal rules—it is the universal language of global cooperation.
The session featured Jana Burzyková, a brilliant legal mind currently specializing in Law and Technology at Tilburg University. As a Czech Representative in the Danube Youth Council and a specialist in digital ethics, Jana brought a cutting-edge perspective to the dialogue. She moved away from traditional "etiquette" to explain how understanding different legal systems and social norms is a powerful tool for achieving social justice and effective teamwork.
The discussion navigated through the intersection of digital ethics, data protection, and the regulation of AI, showing how these modern pillars influence the way we interact professionally today. For the young attendees, it was a unique opportunity to see how professional conduct acts as a bridge between diverse cultural identities in the digital workspace.
As the final dialogue of this cycle, this event reinforced the Digiskill project’s commitment to providing young adults with a 360-degree view of the global market. Through this Erasmus+ initiative, we continue to prove that digital skills and cultural sensitivity are two sides of the same coin.
