6th Online Dialogue

The sixth Digiskill Online Dialogue, held on October 14, saw one of our highest turnouts to date, with 174 participants joining to master the art of "Cross-Cultural Negotiation and Conflict Resolution." In an increasingly interconnected professional world, this session tackled the essential skills needed to bridge gaps and find common ground across borders.

The project was privileged to host Ivana Šedivá, a powerhouse in global leadership with nearly 30 years of experience on the boards of giants such as Johnson & Johnson and McDonald’s. Beyond her corporate legacy, Ivana is a renowned mentor for Google for Startups and European Women on Board. Her vast expertise in public speaking and body language provided a masterclass level of depth to the dialogue, drawing from her experience mentoring over 1,000 leaders worldwide.

The session went beyond theory, focusing on the practical nuances of how body language and communication styles influence high-stakes negotiations. Participants explored strategies for de-escalating cultural friction and building trust in digital and global collaborations, proving that effective conflict resolution is a cornerstone of digital fluency.

By bringing world-class mentorship to young learners, the Digiskill project continues its mission. This Erasmus+ initiative remains dedicated to closing the gap between academic knowledge and the real-world intercultural skills required to lead in the global marketplace.
