On November 11, the Digiskill project tackled one of the most relevant challenges of the modern workplace: "Global Virtual Teams and Digital Communication." The session drew a significant crowd of 151 participants, all eager to learn how to bridge the physical distance with effective intercultural digital strategies.
The dialogue was led by Eva Weberová, a seasoned Leadership Trainer and Coach with over 25 years of experience in people development. Having spent over a decade in senior management roles at global giants like DHL and Maurice Ward Group, Eva brought a unique perspective on how to lead "successfully, effectively, and humanely." Her transition from corporate management to full-time leadership coaching allowed her to share practical tools for managing the human element within virtual environments.
The heart of the discussion revolved around the nuances of digital communication and the common pitfalls of remote collaboration. Attendees explored how to build trust and maintain team cohesion when face-to-face interaction is limited, emphasizing that "digital skills" go far beyond knowing how to use software—they are about fostering genuine connections across screens.
As the seventh event in our series of 20, this session reinforced the Digiskill mission: empowering young adults to thrive in globalized, digital-first professional spaces through the Erasmus+ framework.
