The Digiskill project continues to gain momentum, reaching a new attendance peak during its fourth Online Dialogue on September 9, 2026. With 166 participants joining via Zoom, the session titled "Media and Cultural Representation" became a vibrant hub for discussing how the digital and media landscapes influence our perception of different cultures.
Leading the conversation was Adéla Mochanová, a social and cultural anthropologist whose expertise spans from multicultural childcare to field research. Adéla brought a fascinating multidisciplinary approach to the table, drawing on her experience with archaeological and anthropological projects in Portugal. Her ability to blend academic insight with practical, real-world examples allowed participants to see beyond the surface of everyday media consumption.
The heart of the dialogue centered on how media serves as a powerful tool in shaping—or distorting—cultural awareness. For the young audience interested in global collaboration, the session was an eye-opener on the importance of recognizing stereotypes and promoting authentic representation in digital learning environments.
As the fourth installment of the 20-session Digiskill series, this Erasmus+ initiative continues to bridge the gap between digital skills and intercultural empathy, preparing the next generation for the challenges of a globalized workforce.
