9th Online Dialogue

The new year began with a powerful and timely discussion. On January 27, the ninth Digiskill Online Dialogue brought together 116 participants to explore the complex realities of "Migration, Diaspora, and Transnational Identities." This session was a deep dive into how moving across borders reshapes not only geography but the very essence of who we are.

To guide this conversation, we welcomed Oksana Dolga, a dedicated Project Manager and Youth Mentor with a remarkable track record in social inclusion. Oksana’s work has been at the forefront of humanitarian efforts, having served as Head of the Youth Department at the UNICEF-funded MRIYA Center. Her experience leading the "Cesty na cestách" campaign—a national initiative to empower young refugees—provided the audience with a raw and authentic look at the challenges faced by displaced youth and the strength found in transnational communities.

The dialogue moved beyond statistics, focusing on the human stories of the diaspora and the importance of creating inclusive digital and physical spaces. For young people interested in global communication, Oksana highlighted how empathy and intercultural understanding are the most vital tools we have to connect a fragmented world.

As the ninth event in the Digiskill series, this session underscored the project’s mission to tackle global challenges through education. This Erasmus+ initiative continues to show that understanding identity is just as important as mastering digital skills in our interconnected era.
