DIGISKILL WEBINAR SERIES: ASSOCIAÇÃO SPIN #6
In an era of rapid technological advancement, ensuring that no one is left behind is one of society's most pressing challenges. On March 3, 2026, Associação Spin hosted its sixth Digiskill session, putting social equity at the center of the digital conversation with the webinar: "Be Digital, Be Connected - An Inclusion Approach." The event brought together 34 participants dedicated to making the digital transition accessible and beneficial for all.
The masterclass was facilitated by Roberta Gallo, an advocate and practitioner in inclusive education and community engagement. Roberta addressed the digital divide from a human-centered perspective, emphasizing that true digital transformation is not merely about providing access to hardware, but about creating inclusive environments where diverse social groups feel empowered to participate fully.
The session provided actionable strategies to embed inclusion into digital projects:
Bridging the Digital Divide: Identifying the structural, economic, and social barriers that prevent marginalized youth and communities from accessing digital opportunities.
Designing Inclusive Spaces: Practical approaches for creating digital content, workflows, and platforms that cater to diverse learning styles, accessibility needs, and technical backgrounds.
Technology as a Social Bridge: Leveraging digital tools to build resilient, interconnected communities that foster social cohesion and cross-cultural dialogue.
Roberta’s compassionate and strategic insights reminded the Digiskill community that technology is a tool for empowerment. By training young leaders to design inclusive digital spaces, the session ensured that future community initiatives will prioritize equity alongside technical innovation.
As the 6th of 12 webinars hosted by Associação Spin, this event marks the exact halfway point of Spin's series, reinforcing the organization's core commitment to social inclusion, active citizenship, and equal opportunities for youth.
