DIGISKILL WEBINAR SERIES: ASSOCIAÇÃO SPIN #3

On November 12, the Digiskill project hosted a high-energy session dedicated to professional growth in the digital age: "Boost Your Resume with Free Digital Tools." This third webinar by Associação Spin attracted 27 participants looking for innovative ways to stand out in a competitive, globalized job market without breaking the bank.

The workshop was led by Gianluca Cavataio, a specialist in community outreach and digital skills training from Wayne State University. With a background rooted in Philosophy and Psychology, Gianluca brought a human-centric approach to technology, showing that digital tools are not just technical requirements, but catalysts for personal and professional evolution.

The webinar focused on three main pillars of digital upskilling:

• Strategic Online Certifications: A guide to finding free or low-cost high-quality courses that carry weight in international recruitment.

• Leveraging Digital Platforms: How to use online learning ecosystems to continuously update one’s skill set.

• The "Stand Out" Factor: Tips on how to showcase these new digital badges and skills on a CV to grab the attention of global employers.

Gianluca’s expertise highlighted that in today’s world, curiosity and the right digital tools are often more important than expensive degrees. This session provided a practical bridge for young adults to take control of their professional narratives by using the vast resources available online.

This event marks the 3rd of 12 webinars from Associação Spin. By focusing on accessibility and upskilling, the Digiskill project continues to ensure that every participant, regardless of their background, has the tools to thrive in the modern workforce.
