On September 3, the fourth DigiSkill Interactive Open Online Course, "Agile Project Management and Scrum," officially launched. In this opening session, 110 participants gathered on Zoom to dive into managing projects within fast-paced, dynamic environments: "An Introduction to Agile & Life Cycle Selection."

This course introduces our new expert trainer, Armin Cerkez—a youth worker, trainer, and project manager with extensive experience in Erasmus+ initiatives, digital collaboration, and non-formal education. Armin guided the cohort through shifting from traditional project methodologies to an agile mindset, helping participants evaluate when and how to select iterative project lifecycles.

The session focused on two essential pillars of agile practice:

  • Agile Mindset & Life Cycle Selection: Understanding core agile values and principles, and choosing the right project lifecycle strategy for uncertain or rapidly changing environments.

  • Sprint Planning & User Stories: Hands-on techniques for breaking down project goals into actionable user stories and structuring effective Sprint Planning sessions.

Meanwhile, on the DigiSkill e-learning platform, the 110 learners began exploring the introductory modules to practice drafting user stories and mapping out agile roadmaps. This hybrid launch ensures participants are equipped to bring flexibility, clarity, and speed to their digital initiatives.

The DigiSkill project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
