Over 50 participants from across Europe, Africa and beyond joined the second Digiskill online dialogue, diving into the theme "Stereotypes, Prejudices, and Cultural Sensivity.
Led by guest speaker Anna-Marie Vinšová, a cultural and social anthropologist with extensive research experience in East Africa, the session invited attendees to examine how cultural assumptions shape our perceptions and interactions. Vinšová shared real-world insights from her fieldwork in Tanzania, enriching the discussion with grounded examples of how biases - both conscious and unconscious - affect everyday communication.
The dialogue, hosted by BPW Czechia, emphasized the importance of self-reflection, active listening, and embracing cultural complexity.
This was the second event in the Digiskill project, an Erasmus+ iniciative designed to equip young adults with key digital and intercultural skills to thrive in a globalized, interconnected world.
