16th Online Dialogue

Understanding the forces reshaping our technological landscape is essential for anyone looking to lead in the digital age. On September 8, 2026, the 16th Digiskill Online Dialogue brought together 95 participants for a forward-looking session dedicated to "Emerging Technologies Awareness: An Overview of AI, Blockchain, and Beyond."

The session was led by Alena Řezaninová, who provided a comprehensive breakdown of the core innovations driving Industry 4.0. Rather than focusing solely on technical complexity, Alena demystified the concepts behind Artificial Intelligence, machine learning algorithms, decentralized ledger technologies (blockchain), and automated systems. She gave attendees a clear, accessible framework for understanding how these tools operate, how they intersect, and their growing impact on industries worldwide.

Beyond the technical mechanics, the conversation emphasized critical engagement and ethical awareness. Participants explored how emerging technologies create new career pathways, solve global challenges, and reshape digital trust. Alena highlighted that while these tools are transforming the job market, human adaptability, critical thinking, and ethical oversight remain our most vital assets.

Reaching 16 sessions in our 20-part series, this event highlights the trajectory of Digiskill’s Digital Skills cycle. Co-funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program, the project continues to equip young adults with the foresight and digital confidence required to navigate and shape the future.
