13th Online Dialogue

As our lives become increasingly digital, understanding how to protect our online presence is the ultimate core skill. On May 12, 2026, the Digiskill project hosted its 13th Online Dialogue, "Digital Literacy Fundamentals: Online Security Issues and Scams," bringing together a remarkable turnout of 112 participants determined to build a safer digital environment.

The session was facilitated by Aleksandra Lyutskanova, an experienced international youth worker, non-formal education trainer, and project manager with years of experience leading Erasmus+ and youth initiatives across Europe. Aleksandra brought a practical and highly engaging pedagogical approach to what can often be a daunting subject, translating complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable everyday habits.  

The dialogue tackled the real-world mechanics of digital threats, from identifying sophisticated phishing scams and social engineering techniques to mastering data privacy and password hygiene. Participants examined how scammers exploit digital trust and learned how critical thinking serves as the first line of defense in the online ecosystem.

This 13th session reinforces a fundamental truth of the Digiskill project: true digital empowerment requires not just creating content or connecting with others, but possessing the literacy to navigate the web safely and resilience against online risks.
